Gaston Galaxy will have tryouts for the 2021-2022 club indoor season late October/early November.
By now we are sure that you have heard that some other clubs in Carolina Region are having August tryouts for the 2021-2022 season. While that may be the direction the region is ultimately headed in the future, I am proud to say that Galaxy volleyball along with a few other Western NC-area clubs have worked TOGETHER to pledge that we will not hold tryouts in August. Instead we will hold tryouts in late October/early November to allow for most of the NCHSAA season to be completed. Our players, coaches, and their families are PASSIONATE about their high school programs in Gaston county, and DESERVE the chance to enjoy those seasons without the stress, time and financial obligation of club volleyball running in parallel.
So enjoy the high school season.
