36 U14 teams and you’re looking at 1st Gold group A and 1st Gold group B.
These 2 teams have been sharing a net for the past 2.5 months. They’ve been playing nothing but volleyball. Kudos to these coaches for being consistent in everything they are doing. Consistently is a big word far as training/coaching volleyball players. Not yelling. Not berating. Letting these young ladies become a “team” and really learn what that word means.
Indoor volleyball is not an individual sport. It’s a team sport, the purest form I’ve watch play, since you cannot stop the ball. Its not some individual grind to obtain a college scholarship. Extrinsic motivation is a money model, not a volleyball model.
You play the game because you love the game – you love your team. And you will play it forever.
