Welcome to the 2025-2026 indoor club season! As we get ready to approach our 10th season in this fantastic community, many thanks to all of you for your commitment to us. Galaxy volleyball is growing. We are very competitive indoors, and we have an outstanding staff of 2025-2026 committed indoor coaches. We look forward to seeing you all at tryouts. Galaxy holds our indoor tryouts in November to allow for most of the NCHSAA season to be completed, AND to let middle school-age players develop during their school volleyball seasons. This is also the timeframe recommended by our USAV Region, the Carolina Region.
So enjoy the high school and middle school seasons.
GALAXY INDOOR TRYOUT DATES POSTED *TENTATIVE:
YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE TRYOUTS (YOU WILL NEED A SPORTSENGINE ACCOUNT. IT IS FREE)
Please arrive 1 hour before your tryout to check in and warm up. 30 minutes to get checked in, 30 minutes for warm-up. Example U14 trying out, arrive at 11 AM, get checked in, hit the courts at 11:30 AM -12 PM for warm up. Tryout is from 12 PM to 1 PM.

*For those who make teams, a mandatory parent-player/meeting on Sunday afternoon or evening, November 9th, dues are required (full or partial) at this time*
*All club practices will start the first week in December*
Our cost for tryouts is $20. The cost covers gym rental and coaches/staff. If you want to try out for multiple age groups, please do not register twice. Coaches and staff will invite you to stay for the upper-age tryout if they observe and feel you are physically qualified. If asked, you will not be charged twice.
Parents, we will not have enough room (literally) inside the gym for you to watch your kid at tryouts. I am very sorry. Parents can drop off and pick up.

Playing Ages are based on the USAV-established Playing Ages. Players, please try out for your age group. For a chart to help check your age division, view this provided by USAV: Age Definition Chart
Check-in:
Please arrive 1 hour before your tryout to check in and warm up.
Water:
Please be sure to send water/Gatorade with your player.
