Team Offerings

Welcome to the 2016-2017 club season!

Tryout Dates Posted

We will be having Open Gym October 13th and 20th from 6:30 – 8:00 PM, and October 16th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at our practice facility (Bethlehem  Recreation Center). Open Gym is available for anyone to attend who is interested in trying out for the club – a coach will be there to answer questions, and work the girls out through a few drills that resemble the same drills ran during tryouts. There will be fun warm ups, mini games, and lots of emphasis on passing, setting and hitting. Open gyms are free and a great way to check the club out, and see where your junior is – skill wise alongside other peers her age, before any sort of commitment.

Gaston Galaxy will have tryouts Sunday October 23rd from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at our practice facility (Bethlehem  Recreation Center).

Signing dates for the club commence on October 31st.

Within these tournaments will be our annual two-day Queen City Classic and one-day tournaments throughout the Carolina Region. Regional teams will work their way through the ranks within the Carolina region during a season which runs November through March with practice twice weekly! Many of the future club players began their club volleyball journey right here!

If money is an issue, please do not let that be a determining factor in your junior trying out for the club. Gaston Galaxy will provide fundraiser opportunities to help athletes pay for equipment and club dues. We are also looking for company sponsors to cover team uniforms. The club is doing everything in it’s power to keep dues minimal as possible this season.

We look forward to seeing each of you soon!

Sincerely,
Todd Sloan – Director
